Features

You describe it. The agent builds it. You publish it.

Everything below is in the product today, on every plan. Where something is not built yet, we say so instead of putting it in small print.

The core

Building a website by talking about it.

One chat box, an agent that can actually edit the code, and a preview that keeps up with it.

  • Say what you want, in plain English

Type “make the header stick to the top and swap the hero photo for the one I uploaded” and an AI agent goes and does it. Nothing to drag, no CSS to learn, no theme options to hunt through.

  • It edits a real site, not a page builder

Underneath is a real Astro codebase: semantic HTML, clean CSS, no plugin stack. That is why the pages load fast and why the export is worth having.

  • Opus builds, Sonnet reviews

Claude Opus does the building and the design work. Claude Sonnet runs the review passes over the result, so the first draft gets a second pair of eyes before you see it.

  • Watch the work happen

The preview fills in page by page as the agent works, and its narration and build output stream past as it goes. No blank screen and a spinner for ten minutes.

It already knows how these are done

Each one is a written playbook the agent follows, not something it improvises from scratch every time you ask.

  • Homepages
  • Landing and sales pages
  • Blog
  • Navigation
  • Footer
  • Forms, wired to a Google Sheet
  • Testimonials and logo walls
  • A real design system
  • Responsive layout
  • StoryBrand copy
  • Copy that stops sounding like AI
  • SEO
  • Cookie consent and privacy
  • Calendly and JotForm embeds

Getting started

Three ways to start, and not one of them is an empty screen.

You can begin from a few questions about your organization, from a design you already like, or from the website you have now. Whichever you pick, the agent hands you a finished draft to react to instead of a blank canvas and a blinking cursor.

01

Start from a few questions

A short intake: what you do, who you are talking to, the tone you want, the pages you need, the colors you like. The agent comes back with a finished site instead of an empty canvas.

02

Bring a look you already like

Upload mockups or exported Figma frames for it to match, or paste in links to sites whose design you admire. It takes cues — palette, type, spacing — and leaves their content alone.

03

Move the site you already have

Give it a web address and it crawls the pages and stylesheets and rebuilds them clean. Or upload a .zip of HTML, CSS and JS and it converts that instead.

Preview, versions and publishing

Look it over properly, then put it online.

Check the site at every screen size, keep a restore point for every edit you make, and publish when you are happy with it — not when a deadline says you have to be.

  • Publish in one click

Your site goes live at yourname.sites.wellcraftedapps.com. Republish after an edit, unpublish, or jump straight to the live version from the same box.

  • Take the whole thing with you

Export the built site as a zip whenever you want. They are plain files, so any host on earth will serve them.

  • Check it on a phone first

Flip the preview between desktop, tablet and phone, or go fullscreen, before anyone else sees the page.

  • Every edit is a version

Each change is saved as a point you can go back to. If a change was not what you meant, restore the version before it and carry on.

Not yet

Your own domain. Sites publish to a wellcraftedapps.com address today. Custom domains are next on the build list, and until then the zip export will run on any host you already pay for.

Teams and files

Built for more than one person and more than one site.

Sites belong to an organization rather than to whoever happened to sign up, so the person who set yours up can leave without taking the keys with them.

  • One login, several organizations

Sites belong to the organization rather than to a person, and one account can belong to many. Switch between them from the same menu.

  • Roles that match how teams work

Owner, Admin and Member across the organization, plus Viewer or Editor on individual sites for the people who only touch one.

  • Invite the rest of the team

Share an invite link and they are in. Email invitations are on the list, not built yet.

  • Drag and drop your files

Drop images into the file manager and refer to them by name in a message. Identical files are stored once, so uploading the same logo twice costs you nothing.

Each organization gets its own storage quota, friendly labels on everything you upload, and a public link for any file you need to hand out.

Analytics, SEO and privacy

The plumbing nobody enjoys is already done.

Search tags, a sitemap, your analytics and the cookie banner are all wired up as the site builds. There is nothing to install and nothing to remember on launch day.

The tags search engines look for

A title and description on every page, plus canonical URLs, Open Graph, Twitter cards and JSON-LD, all generated as the site builds.

Sitemap and robots.txt, handled

Both are written for you at build time, and there is guidance in the app for handing your sitemap to Google Search Console.

Analytics without the tag mess

GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Plausible, and Google or Bing site verification. If you need something else, paste your own HTML into the head or the body.

Consent comes first

Anything that sets a cookie waits behind the cookie banner until a visitor agrees to it.

Easier to watch than to read about.

Sign up, answer a few questions about your organization, and see what comes back.
